In September 2015, Sarah and Sarah met at the University of Hartford’s The Hartt School in Connecticut. SH was pursuing her degree in Jazz Performance, while SW was studying Music Business and Clarinet. Fate (and freshman year scheduling) placed them in the same music theory class their very first semester.

SH noticed SW immediately — she was the smartest person in the room. Question after question, SW had the answer. SH couldn’t help but think, “Who is this girl getting every single question right?” What started as admiration quickly turned into friendship, and that friendship blossomed into a beautiful young love.

Over the next four years, they built the foundation of something truly special. They graduated in 2019 and headed full steam toward New York City, ready to chase big dreams side by side. That first year in NYC was filled with new experiences and big transitions.

Just eight months later, the world changed. The pandemic brought them back to their hometowns in New England, navigating distance like never before. During the time and space away from the rush of city life, they reprioritized their lives and realized what was truly important — each other. No matter what life placed in front of them, The Sarahs always found their way back to each other.

In 2020, SH returned to NYC to pursue her Master’s degree in Jazz at The Juilliard School, while SW made a move to New Haven for a fresh start. Their love story became one of train rides between New Haven and 172nd Street, late nights, long weekends, and countless memories made in between.

In 2021, SW moved back to the city, and they shared their very first apartment together — a space filled with laughter, growth, and the comfort of building a life under the same roof. Then in August 2023, they found a beautiful apartment in Westchester County that had everything they were looking for. Since then, their home has been the backdrop for dinner experiments, reality TV marathons, intense cribbage matches, pickleball games, beach days, movie nights, long walks,

and quiet evenings reading side by side. And of course, life wouldn’t be complete without caring for their sweet baby kitty, Girly Girl.

On July 5, 2025, SH asked SW the question they both had known the answer to for a long time. It was never a matter of if — only when. They have always known they were each other’s forever person.

The life they have built together is one of deep love, resilience, laughter, and unwavering partnership. After nearly a decade of growing up together, chasing dreams, weathering storms, and celebrating milestones, they are beyond excited to gather the people who have witnessed their journey and celebrate the foreverness of it all.
